Luis Ramon Puga-Parra, 16, of Greenwood, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2023.

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, he was a son of Teresa Puga-Parra. Luis loved his family unconditionally and was always giving big hugs to show it. He was always willing to sacrifice his wants and needs for his mother and siblings to make sure they were provided for. Luis was well rounded and responsible young man, wise beyond his years. He was a member of Iglesia Rosa de Saron.

He is survived by his mother, Teresa; sister, Kaylee Hernandez-Puga; brothers, Brandon Puga-Parra, Adrian Puga-Parra, and Dylan Puga-Parra; and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Juan Perez officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Hector Puga-Parra, Tony Puga-Parra, Brian Puga-Parra, Michael Hernandez, Jose Puga-Parra, and Brandon Puga-Parra.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nacido en Guadalajara, México, era hijo de Teresa Puga-Parra. Luis amaba a su familia incondicionalmente y siempre estaba dando grandes abrazos para demostrarlo. Siempre estaba dispuesto a sacrificar sus deseos y necesidades por su madre y sus hermanos para asegurarse de que fueran provistos. Luis era un joven completo y responsable, sabio más allá de sus años. Fue miembro de la Iglesia Rosa de Saron.

Le sobreviven su madre, Teresa; hermana, Kaylee Hernández-Puga; hermanos, Brandon Puga-Parra, Adrian Puga-Parra y Dylan Puga-Parra; y múltiples tías, tíos y primos.

Los servicios se llevarán a cabo a las 2:00 p.m. el jueves en la Capilla de la Funeraria Harley con el reverendo Juan Pérez oficiando. El entierro seguirá en Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Los portadores del féretro serán Héctor Puga-Parra, Tony Puga-Parra, Brian Puga-Parra, Michael Hernández, José Puga-Parra y Brandon Puga-Parra.
