Luther �Bo� Buchanan, 83, of 1015 Wingert Road, widower of Elizabeth Briggs Buchanan, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014 at his home. Born in Parksville, SC, he was a son of the late Richard and Alice Adams Buchanan. He was formerly employed with Greenwood CPW and retired as custodian for Main Street United Methodist Church. Bo was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed farming and gardening and was a jack of all trades. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Tabernacle. Surviving is his daughter, Sandy Buchanan of the home; sisters, Lucy Simpson of Greenwood and Mary Syms of Warner Robins, GA. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Lester, Elloree McDaniel and Pauline Swancey and five brothers, John Belton "J. B. " Buchanan, Sr., William Jasper �Buck� Buchanan, Bob Buchanan, Dallas Buchanan and Richard �Coot� Buchanan. The family is at the home.
