Obituary
Luther Franklin Meadows, 62, of 422 Common Wealth Drive, Ninety Six, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Stuttgart, Germany, he was a son of Sigrid Schroter Spangenberg and the late Luther Meadows. He was an Aerospace Engineer at Northrop Grumman in Grandforks, North Dakota and a US Air Force veteran. Luther enjoyed racecar driving, piloting his own plane, hunting, gun collecting, shooting, model planes, flying drones, motorcycles and motorsports racing. He was a proud conservative and NRA member.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Sigrid and stepfather, John Brand Spangenberg of the home is his daughter, Kailey Ann Meadows of North Dakota; brother, Anthony Haertlein (Linda) of North Carolina; along with friends across the world.
