Marcia Ann Smith Fortson, 80, of Greenwood, wife of Jerry Fortson, died Sunday, September 10, 2017.

Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Claudia Lee Duncan Smith. Marcia was formerly employed by Jerry's Floral Shop, was the floral manager at Winn-Dixie and had owned her own floral design shop for several years.

Surviving is her husband; her daughter, Sharon Denise Lupinski and her husband, Mike, of Easley; her son, John Robert Smith and his wife, Coralea, of Dallas, GA; a brother, Terry Smith and his wife, Miriam, of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Gavin Lupinski and Mykayla Lupinski; three step grandchildren, Ashley Bowen, Ashley Bickers and Kimberly Mulkey and four step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Smith and his wife, Pearl.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.
