Obituary
Margaret Elaine Blanchett, 68, of 2107 Airport Road, Greenwood, widow of Rev. Richard Eugene Blanchett, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Hospice House.
Born in Cedartown, GA, she was a daughter of the late John Henry Blanchett and Elizabeth Henderson Anthony. Elaine was a retired nurse and loved everyone with all her heart. She was a devout Christian and was a faithful member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Schanen Blanchett and Carey Dale Blanchett (Jennifer); two sisters, Dorothy King and Diane Shealy (Tony); a half brother, Mickey Blanchett; and three grandchildren, Coby Blanchett, Austin Shirley and Dustin Shirley.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Oakbrook Memorial Park with the Rev. Robbie Burton and Rev. James Boling officiating.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice House, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646 or to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2916 Highway 72 East, Abbeville, SC 29620.
