Margaret Elizabeth Walker Davis, 91, resident of Abbeville Nursing Home and formerly of 111 Margaret Road, Saluda, widow of James Harold Davis, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Hospice House. Born in Edgefield, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Leard Walker and Sallie Sanders Walker. Margaret was a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church where she was in the T.E.L. Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by two sons, George Kennedy Davis and Franklin Walker Davis. Surviving are two sons, James �Jimmy� Thomas Davis and wife Darleen, of Hodges, Harold Wayne Davis and wife Alice, of Chappells; two daughters, Norma Jean Joiner of Greenwood and Glenda Elizabeth Rochester of Stockbridge, GA; three sisters, Mary Frances Dowis, Jessie Mae Walker, both of Ninety Six and Emma Jean Walker of New Orleans, LA; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. The family is at the home of her son, James �Jimmy� Davis, 303 East Keels Road, Hodges.
