Margaret Ann Ellison, 56, of Waterloo, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Johnny and Doris Richey Ellison. Margaret was a beloved daughter, mother, and friend. She was known for her happy-go-lucky spirit and her unwavering love for her family. Margaret found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in being outdoors and fishing. Her laughter and warmth will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She was a dedicated member of Cedarwood Community Church.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Natalie and Brayden Lewis.
Surviving are her life companion, Bobby Smith; her daughters Ashley Smith and Jessica Smith; sister, Betty Jean Gurley; and grandchildren, Bentley, Miles, Harper and Cannon Alvarez.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel.
