Margaret Huckaby Higginbotham, 85, formerly of Faulkner Street, Greenwood, widow of Richard Higginbotham, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Wesley Commons.

Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Neville Huckaby and Maybell Huckaby Roark. Margaret retired from Capsugel and was a faithful charter member of South Greenwood Church of God where she enjoyed attending and singing.

Surviving are her children, Joy Hall (Danny) of Ninety Six, Rick Higginbotham (Diane) of Greenwood and Robbie Chafin (Gary) of Laurens; a special niece, Judy Brown; five grandchildren, Eric Parkman, Jody Parkman, Adam Higginbotham, Kara-Grace Lay and Taylor Hall; and six great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Brown and Rev. Kenneth Rabon officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

The family will receive friends before the service from 12-1 pm on Tuesday
