Margaret Hazel Jay Huggins, 74, formerly of Pinehurst Drive, Greenwood, widow of Charles William Huggins, died October 31, 2017 at her home.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Carrie Jones Jay. Margaret retired from Greenwood Mills and attended Faith Temple Holiness Church. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend.

Surviving are her son, Scott Bearden (Kathy) of Hodges; two sisters, Dora Brook and Barbara Bryant (Raymond), both of Greenwood; a brother, Leon Jay (Brenda) of Ninety Six; a granddaughter, Hailey A. Bearden; and great grandson, Bentley Grogan.

Services will be held at 3 pm on Thursday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chad Charles and David Watkins officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the service from 2 to 3pm.
