Obituary

Margaret Larkins Butler Kinard, 87, a resident of Emerald Gardens and formerly of 1328 Ninety Six Highway, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 30, 2013. Born in Gastonia, NC, she was a daughter of the late Algia Lewis and Annie Belle Harris Larkins. She was a hair dresser for over 40 years and was a member of South Greenwood Church of God, the Women�s Ministries, was past president of the Senior�s Group and was a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class. Surviving is a daughter, Deborah Hoffman (Karl) of Greenwood; a son, Jimmie D. Ravencraft (Lisa) of Greenwood; a son-in-law, Joel Brown of Greenwood; a sister, Jackie Smith of Greenwood; two brothers, Carl H. Larkins (Bobbie Sue) of Ladson, SC and Franklin D. Larkins (Katheren) of Atlanta, GA; two grandsons, Jason Butler of Greenwood and Zac Ravencraft of Charleston; a granddaughter, Jennifer Rhodes (Charles) of Greenwood; four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James P. �J.P.� Butler and Andrew J. Kinard, Sr.; a daughter, Sherryl Ravencraft Brown; two sisters, Virginia �Betty� Medlock and Helen Dennis; a brother, Robert �Bob� Thomas Larkins and two grandchildren, James �Jimbo� Roy Ravencraft and Tiffanny Ravencraft. Pallbearers will be Randy Medlock, Marty Medlock, Larry Smith, Bobby Dennis, John Dennis, David Dennis, Dwight Larkins, Barry Larkins and Robert Larkins. Memorials may be made to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646. The family members are at their respective homes.
