Margaret Frances W. McCormick, 97, formerly of Greenwood, SC, widow of Huston L. McCormick, died Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Prudenville, MI.

Born in Paris, TN, she was a daughter of the late Myrtie Wiseman, who did an outstanding job of raising Marge and her siblings on her own. Marge was a devoted wife and mother who took great joy in raising her family and took every opportunity to help others in need. She was a member of Emerald Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Jerry A. McCormick (Pat) of Houghton Lake, MI, Huston S. McCormick of Prudenville, MI and Robin B. McCormick (Jeanne) of Greer, SC; 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Victor M. McCormick.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 17th, at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Boling officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
