Margaret Cothran Powell, 91, formerly of 101 Piedmont Avenue, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at NHC Healthcare � Greenwood. Born in Edgefield, SC, she was a daughter of the late George T. and Permelia Ransom Powell. She was of the Baptist faith. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are a niece, Ramona McKee Jefferson (Denton) of Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn McKee and Dorothy �Dot� Boggero; two brothers, John �Bud� Powell and George �Bo� Powell; and a niece, Barbara �Bobbie� McKee. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital; 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL, 33607. The family is at the home of her niece, Ramona, at 420 Panacea Road (Augusta Fields).
