Margaret Blackburn VanCise, 74, of 530 Bolt Avenue, wife of Earl VanCise, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Addlee Murphy Blackburn. Margaret was a paper carrier with the Index Journal and was of the Baptist faith. She was the last surviving member of twelve children and preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Jones. Surviving are two children, Sherry Jones of Ninety Six and Jo Jones of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Hitt, Nicholas Allison, Chris Smith, Rusty Haynie, Jimmy Walker, Charles Burdette and Randy Burdette.
