Marian Jones Howard Wells, 85, of 808 Wright Avenue, wife of Horace Wells, Sr., died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at her home. Born in Charlotte, NC, she was a daughter of the late William and Annie Obenoskey Jones. She was a caregiver and a member of New Market Baptist Church. She was twice married, first to the late Calvin Howard and was also preceded in death by two daughters, Sue Johnson and Theresa Johnston. Surviving is her husband of the home; a daughter, Gail Mills (Chuck) of Charlotte, NC; a son, Reid Howard of the home; a sister, Carrie Lowe of Midland, NC; a brother, Tom Jones of Henry Bridge, NC; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
