Marie Bell Cox, 68, of 102 Kentucky Avenue, widow of Ray Cox, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at her home. Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of the late Bobby Allen Bell and Alice Simpson Johnson. Marie retired from Greenwood Mills - Durst Plant and was of the Holiness faith. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Corliss Ann Baker and Nancy Pitts; and a brother, David Bell. Surviving are her companion, Thomas Moss of the home; a daughter, Donna Crawford; a son, Keith Cox and wife, Nina; a nephew raised in the home, Stephen Hinton and wife, Lisa; two sisters, Janice McCarty, Deborah Mundy, all of Greenwood; two brothers, Bobby Allen Bell, Jr. of Bradley and Myron Johnson of Ninety Six; four grandchildren: Kayla McAllister and her husband Trey, Ashton Hinton, Peyton Hinton and Greyson Hinton; and four great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Haston, Savannah Haston, Traver Altee and Will McAllister. The family is at the home.
