Mrs. Rose Marie Jordan Taylor, 64, of 924 Barr Woods Road, widow of Hugh Albert Taylor passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at her home. Born in McCormick on August 27, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Charles Raymond Jordan and Mary Price Jordan. Marie was a client of the Burton Center and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Surviving are two brothers, Teddy (Connie) Jordan of Ninety Six and Larry Gene Price of Hodges; a sister, Linda Jordan (Al) White of Greenwood; a step-sister, Connie Timmerman Jordan; a step-brother, Robert (Caridad) Timmerman; eight nieces and nephews; and a number of great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Patricia Jordan Williams. Pallbearers will be Alf White, Christopher Jordan, Richard Craig, Mike Dorn, Roy Finley and Robert Timmerman. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Anderson, Joe Butch White, Bert Wetzel, the staff and clients of the Burton Center and the members of Providence Baptist Church.
