Marilyn Martin Motte, 81, of 206 Eastman Street, wife of Bobby Motte, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Self Regional Healthcare.

Born in Shelby, NC, she was a daughter to the late W.D. and Docia Ollie Wiggins Martin. She worked at Greenwood Mills for thirty-five years where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club and was a custodian at Lander University. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are, sister, Betty Lou Watts, of Greenwood; and a brother, Billy F. Martin (Jean), of Greenwood.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Robbie Brissie, Donnie Bell, and Dewayne Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Trail, Dan Wideman, Cliff Akers, Johnny Barrett, Neal Beggs, and Ronnie Ables.

Honorary escort will be Fred Holmes,Bill McCullum, Alan Todd, Jonathan Watts, Jason Watts, and Jeremy Watts.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
