Marjorie Taylor Elliott, 83, of 437 East Cambridge Ave., widow of Ashby "Mac " Elliott, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Hospice House. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Prue W. and Rossie Clinkscales Taylor. Marjorie was a homemaker and a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Womens Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Luker; a sister, Sara Ellen Gambrell; and two brothers, Bobby Taylor and Major Taylor. Surviving are two sons, Frank Elliott (Cheryl) and Buddy Elliott (Karen Dobbins), both of Greenwood; a daughter, Dianne Bridges (Tony) of Jasper, GA; a sister, Juanita Burton of Honea Path; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Memorials may be made to Hospice House, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646. The family is at the home of her son Frank Elliott, 117 Woodland Way, Greenwood. '
