Mark Steven Turner, 57, of 3721 Silver Bluff Road, Jackson, husband of Susan Wise Turner, died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Cherry Point, NC, he was a son of William R. �Bill� Turner and the late June �Bug� Hughes Turner. He was employed by Automatic Switch, Aiken, for 25 years and was previously employed by F.L. Aerospace-Grimes, Greenwood. Mark was an avid hunter, fisherman and father to his furry children, Freddie and Mia Hamm. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Matt Turner. Surviving is his wife of the home; his daughter, Jen Cutlip of San Antonio, TX; two sons, Hunter Turner (Becca) of Pineville, AL and Jeremey Davis of Greenville; his sister, Kathy E. Turner of Greenwood; his father of Ninety Six; his grandmother, Nellie Hughes of Greenwood; grandchildren, Emily, Alyssa and Bryce Cutlip, Blake Turner, Caden, Gracen and Gannon Davis; and his mother-in-law, Dorothy S. Wise of Greenwood. The family is at the home of his sister, Kathy Turner, 1008 Northside Drive East.
