Obituary
Martha Sue Dillard Jeter, 84, of 106 Columbia Avenue, widow of Samuel O. Jeter, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Tucker, GA, she was a daughter of the late Albert Richard and Mattie Julia Baker Dillard. She retired from JcPenny and was a member of Bold Spring Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Gwendolyn Hotchkiss of Charleston, Peggy Ackerman, Jo Anna Hopkins, both of Greenwood, Dee Koerber of Abbeville, Samantha Hallman of Deburry, FL, and Honey Gadsey of Tennessee; sister, Joy Martin of Mayfield, GA; and fourteen grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Samuel she was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Pam Smith; sister, Abbie McNeal and a granddaughter, Jerilyn Capers.
A private service will be held.
