Marvin Heyward Minor, Jr., 70, of 305 State Street, Ninety Six, husband of Brenda Horton Minor, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at his home.
Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Marvin H. Minor, Sr. and Jeanette Moore Minor. He was formerly employed at Greenwood Mills, Emerald Plumbing, and T.W. Humphries. Mr. Marvin enjoyed fishing and hunting. Every morning he had his coffee at NAPA Auto Parts in Ninety Six. He was a very comical and unique man who always kept things fun.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Brenda are his children, Kimberly Boddie (Jeff), Rodney Ouzts, Charles Ouzts (Anna), Jamie Ouzts, and Kayce Ouzts (Eric); sisters, Betty Cobb (Harley) and Glenda Moore (Tony); fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; fur baby, Rufus; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Brian Brock officiating.
Pallbearers will be Steve Humphries, Jamie Ouzts, Charles Ouzts, Kelby Clamp, Eric Williams, and Jacob Napier.
