Marvin David Pressley, 83, of 218 Breazeale Road, husband of Annie Gillion Pressley, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Toccoa, GA, he was a son of the late Lyman and Violet Dover Pressley. Marvin retired from Palmetto Bakery Company and was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Pressley and a son-n-law, Sidney Qualls. Surviving in addition to his wife of 62 years, of the home are two daughters, Judy Qualls of Ware Shoals and Connie (Mahlon) Knight of McCaysville, GA; three brothers, Dewitt (Jean) Pressley of Florence, Dewey (Marie) Pressley and Jerry (Linda) Pressley, both of Greenwood; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. The family is at the home.
