Mary Helen Bryan Able, 75, of 105 BelCourt Drive, wife of Rudy Able, died Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late George L. Bryan and Eula Mae Still Bryan Payne. Mary Helen was a retired mail clerk from the U. S. Postal Service Magnolia Branch and was of the United Methodist faith. Mary Helen was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Mary Kinard Able; and her step-father, Gordon N. Payne. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are two sons, Bryan Able (Toni) of Laurens and Kevin Able (Amy) of Prattville, AL; three brothers, George Bryan (Betty) of Gray Court, Ricky Payne and Preston Payne, both of Greenwood; grandchildren, Elizabeth Able, Andrea Hubbard, Edward Able, all of Laurens, Candace Able, Emily Able and James Able, all of Alabama. Pallbearers will be Edward Able, James Able, Patrick Bond, Clay Payne, Steve Kinard and Jack Cobb.
