Mary Margaret Armstrong, 89, wife of Theodore I. Armstrong, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Wesley Commons.

Born in New Orleans, LA, she was the daughter of the late William Allison and Margaret Danenhower Scheeler. She served in Navy during the Korean War and was a member of McCormick United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Pamela A. Scott (Jay) of Atlanta, GA, and Mark Allen Armstrong (Sue) of Plano, TX; a brother, Ralph Scheeler of Beaverton, OR; four grandchildren, Chris Scott (Jessica) of Atlanta, GA, Allison Scott of Paris, France, Eric Armstrong (Megan) and Amy Poindexter (Nate), both of Plano, TX; and two great-grandchildren, Henry and June Armstrong of Plano, TX.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Wesley Commons Asbury Hall with the Rev. Kathy Hudson officiating.
