Mary Jo Boland Crawford, 81, of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2021.

Born on May 2, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Pauline Pitt Boland. Mary Jo was a native South Carolinian and lifelong Clemson Fan. She was fortunate to have lived and traveled the world through her husband's career and later her own career. From Taipei, Taiwan, to Long Island, New York, to Denver, Colorado, she experienced life to the fullest. Mary Jo was the former marketing director at Gates/FA/Arrow, Greenville, SC. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Taipei International Women's Club and Women's Tennis Association at Holly Tree Country Club.

Mary Jo was blessed with many wonderful friends and a devoted family. The joy of her life were her three grandchildren, Tillman, Mary Crandall and Patrick.

She was preceded in death by two siblings, Rebecca Lynn Traynham and Robert A. Boland, Jr.

Surviving are her children Susan Crawford Doyle (James) and J. Scott Crawford; two sisters, Lois Madden and Brenda Sims; and her three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 3pm on Sunday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Although we will miss her, her departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. Mom has rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings. She lives in our hearts forever.
