Mary Frances Creech, 96, of Greenwood, passed away on October 2, 2026. Born in Star, SC, she was the daughter of the late James and Pearl McGukin. An avid gardener, she loved flowers and spent much of her time working in her garden. She was also deeply committed to helping others, volunteering regularly at Wesley Commons. Above all, Frances loved her family and cherished every moment she spent with them.

Frances is survived by a son, Keith Creech (Twila); Daughters, Lynn Creech and Jan Creech; grandchildren, Chris Creech, Sarah Braswell, Rose Anna Welch, Cody Creech, and great grandchildren, Dustin Hammond, Peyton Braswell, and Kerrigan Braswell. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alcus "Bud" Romane Creech. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Oakbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum officiated by Reverend Randy Ouzts. The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
