Mary Brown Brown Deloach, 95, formerly of 502 Bolt Avenue, widow of R. J. DeLoach, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Wesley Commons. Born in McCormick, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Creighton Brown and Polly Singleton Brown McKeller. She retired from Mathews Plant of Greenwood Mills where she was in the Quarter Century Club and was a member of Mathews United Methodist Church where she was in the Willing Workers Sunday school class. Mrs. DeLoach was twice married, first to the late Pierce Brown and was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters. Surviving are two children, Tommy Brown and his wife Maxine of Greenwood and Brenda Brown Hyler and her husband John of Prosperity; two brothers, Talmadge (Miriam) Brown of Spartanburg and Otis (Iris) Brown of Greenwood; three granddaughters, Amy B. (Cameron) Dickey, April B. (Trae) Stockman and Alana Brown (Will Byrd), all of Greenwood; five great grandchildren, Thomas Stockman, Chandler Dickey, Max Stockman, Peyton Dickey and Karaline Byrd; two step-grandchildren, Deborah Blizzard and Robert Hyler; and two sister-in-laws, Corrie Brown of Newberry and Katherine Brown of FL. Pallbearers will be Cameron Dickey, Trae Stockman, Will Byrd and Buck Brown. The family is at the home of her son Tommy Brown, 226 Greenway Drive, North Fall Acres, Greenwood.
