Mary Vanadore Kay Hodge, 86, of 1224 Village Creek Lane, Apt. J-4, Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Greenwood, widow of Charlie Hodge, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at her daughter�s home on James Island. Born in Brantley, AL, she was a daughter of the late Robert Guy and Mary Jeter Vanadore. She retired from Bank of America after 30 years of service, was a member of First Baptist Church of Ninety Six and the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. She was twice married, first to the late Howard Franklin Kay, and was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Fred Kay; a sister, Florence Culbertson and a brother, William Lester Vanadore. Surviving are her daughter, Nancy Ann Kay of James Island; a sister, Ruby L. Eargle of Greenwood; and her grandson, Chris Gosnell and his wife, Julie, of Boston, MA.
