Mary Alice Harvley Hollingsworth, 90, formerly of Highway 25 South, widow of Eddie Hollingsworth, died on October 12, 2022, at NHC of Greenwood.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Martha "Carrie" Caroline Weaghington Harvley. Mary Alice retired from the Burton Center, where she cooked and drove the bus for residents. She loved cooking, planting flowers, and taking care of people, especially the elderly. Mary Alice was a very determined lady and always stood by her word.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Diane Cook of Greenwood; her son, Donald Hollingsworth (Elaine) of Travelers Rest; three grandchildren, Eddie Riley (Lori), Alice Austin (Kenny), and Joy Hollingsworth; six great grandchildren, Britney, Jessica, Jazmine, Josh, Zack, and Keyon; and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Gladys Hall, Elsie Mae Harvley, Alma Riggins, and Thelma Harvley and six brothers, Cecil Harvley, Thurman Harvley, Clyde Harvley, Otis Harvley, Leslie Harvley, and an infant.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating.
