Mary Young Lawrence, of 766 Flymm Smith Road, widow of Paul Lawrence, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Hospice House. Born in Lake City, she was a daughter of the late Allard D. and DeLura H. Young. She was retired from Self Regional Medical Center and the Greenwood Genetic Center and was a member of Bethlehem Union Church. Surviving is a daughter, Susan L. Brown of Waterloo; four sons, Richard Alan Lawrence and his wife, Robin, and Tony Lawrence, both of Greenwood, Ronald A. Lawrence and Randall K. Lawrence and his wife, Tammy, all of Waterloo; a sister, Shirley Foshee and her husband, Melvin, of Greenwood; three brothers, Rev. Laurin Young and his wife, Thelma, of Pomaria, Ronald Young and his wife, Grace, of Camden and Hershel Young and his wife, Martha Anne, of Ninety Six; four grandchildren, Nikki Lawrence of Asheville, NC, Amy Lawrence of Columbia, Joey Bryan of Waterloo and Jeremy Schultz of Greenwood and three great grandchildren.
