Mary Avery Lewis, 66 of 532 B Davis Street, died Tuesday April 6, 2010 at Self Regional Health Care. Born in Greenwood County; She was the daughter of the late Rally Marshall Avery and Janie Mae Gentry Avery .She was a retired waitress with Huddle House and attended of Panola United Methodist. Surviving are two daughters, Pamela Sweatt and Sandra Urban both of Greenwood; a son, Mark Purdy of Abbeville; two brothers Marshall Avery and William Albert Avery both of Greenwood; Nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mark Purdy, Sam Sweatt, Chris Sweatt, Buster Sweatt, David Urban Jr., and John Ward. Memorial may be made to the Mary Lewis Memorial Fund,in care of Harley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 777,Greenwood,S.C.29648. The family is at the home.
