Mary Elizabeth Freeman Moss, 59, of 622 Union School Road, wife of Gary Moss, died Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Self Regional Medical Center. She was born in Florida and was the adopted daughter of the late Pat P. and Grace Pearl Prather and was the biological daughter of the late Joe and Mamie Ellis Smith. She was employed by Abney Mills, Grendel Mill and the Chalmers Plant of Greenwood Mills. She was a member of Whitehall Church of God. Surviving are her husband of the home; two daughters, Nancy Barrett and her husband, Victor, and Julie King and her husband, Christopher; two sons, Anthony Ray �Tony� Moss and Scott Moss, all of Greenwood; eight grandchildren and family members, Pamela Freeman Fagen, Maxine Freeman and Patrick Freeman, all of Greenwood and Eva James, Helen Merritt and Joe Smith, all of Florida.
