Mary Dixon Porter, 88 of 112 Pinsonville Road, widow of Larry Porter died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ada Simpson Dixon. Mrs. Porter retired from Greenwood Mills-Sloan Plant where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Ninety Six Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was in the Women�s Adult Sunday school class. Surviving are a daughter Joyce Harter of Ninety Six; two grandchildren, Kathy Pinson of Greenwood and Kimberly Harter of Columbia; and three great grandchildren, Christopher, Bryce and Shelton Pinson. Pallbearers will be Ray Horne, Christopher Pinson, Bryce Pinson, Bill Davis and Milton Harter. Honorary escort will be the Men�s Bible Class of Ninety Six Pentecostal Holiness Church.
