Mary Alice McCranie Steele, 99, formerly of 114 Church Avenue, widow of Charles Steele, died Monday, December 5, 2016 at Magnolia Manor.

Born in Eastman, GA, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Wesley and Mamie Livingston McCranie. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Compton; siblings, Ruby Kelly, Clyde Jones, Christine Swindler, Clara McCranie, Nell Dove, Marvin McCranie, Johnny McCranie, and Joe McCranie.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Marshall Road Church of God with the Rev. Nathan Hayes officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family members are at their respective homes.
