Mary Jane �Mickie� Fredericks Stokes, 67, of 108 Gemini Court, Waterloo, wife of Robert A. Stokes, died Monday, August 18, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin and Beulah Lewis Fredericks. Mary was employed by BMG Direct Marketing in Duncan, SC and attended New Beginnings in Waterloo. Surviving are her husband of the home; three children, John Mark Stokes of Tomball, TX, Laura Stokes Phillips (Scott) of Aiken, and Robin Heather Stokes Gregory (Gary) of Spartanburg; a brother, Tyson Hope of West Virginia; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Barnette and Thomas Franklin Fredericks. The family is at the home.
