Mary Ellen McKee Turner, 85, of 117 Morgan Avenue, widow of the Rev. Clarence E. Turner, died Friday, February 1, 2013 at Hospice House. Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Luna M. and Annie Evans McKee. Mary faithfully served as a pastor�s wife as a member of the SC United Methodist Conference. She was a member of Mathews United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, William Edward Turner and his wife, Elaine, and Stan E. Turner and his wife, Anne, all of Greenwood; a sister, Mildred Whitt of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Stacey Turner Smoke and her husband, Gladden, of Gaffney, Stephen Turner and his wife, Heather, of Easley, Brandon Turner and Leslie Turner, both of Greenwood; three great grandchildren, Sarah Grace Turner, Luke Turner and Rebecca Smoke. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Maxwell and Faye Wright.
