Michael Andrew Rhodes,74, of 131 Downs Road, Hodges, husband of Eleanor Hudson Rhodes, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Woodruff, he was the son of the late Isaac Edgar Rhodes and Faye P. Minitor. Mike was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He was a draftsman in his younger years and worked as a construction estimator for over 20 years. In his free time, Mike made turkey calls, enjoyed hunting and fishing. Above all, he loved his family and his grandbabies immensely.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor of the home; son, Andrew Rhodes (Anna) of Hodges; sister, Reynae Deyoung (Ronnie) of Gaffney; and three grandchildren, Sam, TJ, and Brook.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Hembree and Pastor Justin Stanley officiating. Burial will take place at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
