Michael Anthony Smith, 57, of 136 Donegal Drive, Greenwood, wife of Lynn Edwards Smith, died Monday, November 13, 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Plum Branch, he was a son of Willie Quarles Smith and the late Willie O. Smith. Michael was the owner and operator of Mike's Car Care and attended South Side Church of Christ.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and his mother of Greenwood are two children, Cheetara Smith of Greenwood and Brian Bencebi (Elizabeth) of Greenwood; several siblings; and two grandchildren, Layla Bencebi and Jackson Bencebi, both of Greenwood.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hosie Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Sam Byrd, Skip Mathis, Reggie Leverette, Johnny McCalla, Cee Dunlap, Robert Carrol, Brian Bencebi, Claude Byrd.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
