Michael "Calli" Rhett Calliham, 65, of 420 Sample Road, husband of D'Andrea "Dandy" Calliham, passed peacefully at his home on October 19, 2018.
Born in Greenwood, he was the son of late Albert Rhett and Alice Crawford Calliham. Mike was a life long musician whose love and passion for music started at the age of ten years old. A Turner Recording artist for Black Stallion Records, Mike toured the country playing the music he loved with legends like Johnny Paycheck, John Anderson and David Allan Coe. He was an icon to all that heard of him and the epitome of a true outlaw.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home is his beloved daughter, Jessi Calliham Lollis (Coleton), son Manly McCroskey (Chrystal) of Greenville and son Ian McCroskey of Lexington; brothers, Albert Calliham and Melvin Calliham (Cathy) both of Greenwood; and grandchildren, Gage McCroskey and Ryann "Sassy" McCroskey both of Greenville.
