Ralph Michael �Mike� Richey, 58, of 817 Shirley Street, Calhoun Falls, husband of Wanda Hedden Richey, died Friday, October 2, 2009 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Margaret Lecroy Boswell and the late William Ralph Richey. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and Piedmont Technical College, with a degree in Criminal Justice. He was a retired police officer and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife of the home; his mother and stepfather, Rev. Curtis Boswell, of Greenwood; five sons, James M. �Sam� Richey, Terry Richey, Jerry Richey and Justin Richey, all of Greenwood and Chris Montjoy of Laurens; a stepdaughter, Tricia Robins of Greenwood; two stepsons, David Hedden of Newnan, GA and Chris Hedden of Pacolet; a sister, Tami Richey of Greenwood; two brothers, Timothy Richey and Chuck Boswell, both of Greenwood; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Richey.
