Mildred Mullen Ashley, 94 formerly of 109 McDowell Street, Greenwood, widow of William Carlton Ashley, Sr. died on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at NHC-Clinton.

Born Friday, November 9, 1923 in Hickory, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Kemp Mullen and Hattie Hefner Mullen. Mildred retired from Monsanto and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Surviving are daughters, Sandra Griffin (Jimmy) of Ninety Six, Cathy Holliday (Mike) and Christine Harwell, both of Greenwood; two sons, Soni Ashley of Greenwood and Dale Ashley of Ninety Six; grandchildren; Chad Griffin, Ashley Walker, Cristi Holliday, Corey Holliday, Anastasia Allen, Kemp Ashley, Jamie Ashley and Kara Glasl; and seven great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Howle officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 12-1 pm.
