Obituary
Mildred G. Harmon, born October 7, 1925, widow of James D. Harmon and sister of Christine Green Elrod, died January 12, 2017.
Our precious Mama went to heaven today. She left us with lots of sweet memories to share with her nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Her children, Jimmy, Marvin and Cookie, will always cherish her love, her faith and unselfishness that she lived out daily. From her "famous" handmade biscuits that she often sent James out to deliver to her unwavering faith in God, we have all been truly blessed.
Mama is at her home for the last time. We welcome you to come visit and rejoice with us anytime on Saturday, January 14 and until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 15. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Edgewood Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Doug Ferqueron, her grandson, and the Rev. George Hill.
May God bless all of our very special caregivers and Dr. John Holman for their many years of compassionate care.
The family respectfully request that flowers be omitted and memorial donations made to Harley Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 777, Greenwood, SC 29648 to help the family off-set the cost of burial.
