Obituary

Minnie Lee Gable Dorn, 91, of 4003 Callison Road, widow of Ellis J. "Jack" Dorn, died Thursday, May 3, 2018.

Born in McCormick County, she was a daughter of the late James Ralph Gable and Eme Willis Gable. Minnie retired from Greenwood Mills-Mathews Plant where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Bold Spring Baptist Church where she was in the Ladies Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Doolittle; and three brothers, Will Joe Gable, James Press Gable and Alvin Willis Gable.

Surviving are a daughter, Brenda McDonald of Bradley; a sister, Elizabeth Gable; a granddaughter, Kayla McDonald Proctor (Dale) of Bradley; and a great grandson, Jackson Dale Proctor.

Services will be held at 2 pm on Monday at Bold Spring Baptist Church with the Rev. Chuck Keller officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Roland Temple, Horace Kirkland, Tony Young, Gary Gable, Ralph Gable, Tim Mullenix and Braeden McDonald.

Honorary escort will be the members of the Ladies Sunday School Class of Bold Spring Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Sunday at Harley Funeral Home from 2-4 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Bold Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, 2806 Callison Road, Troy, SC 29848.

The family is at the home of her granddaughter, Kayla Proctor, 4011 Callison Road, Bradley, SC 29819.
