Mirin Misenheimer Vaughn, 91, of Ninety Six, beloved wife of Alton Vaughn, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at NHC of Greenwood.

Born in Rowan County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Beaulah Morgan Misenheimer. Mirin was known for her warmth, kindness, and passion for education, serving as a dedicated Teacher Assistant for many years. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church, where she was in the Nana Brown Sunday School class.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughters, Rhonda McDowell (Don), Valerie Smith, and Patricia Goodman (Gene); grandchildren, Scott McDowell (Allyson), Blair Patterson (Jeb), Elijah Smith and Chris Goodman (Sharolyn); and great grandchildren, Bennett McDowell, Noah McDowell, Graylen Patterson, Kate Patterson, Mac Patterson, Christian Goodman and Garrison Goodman.

Graveside services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Kelvin Hinson officiating.

The family will receive friends before and after the service at the graveside.
