Lois Monteze Spence Weeks, 90, of 711 Burnett Road, Greenwood, widow of Ralph A. Weeks, Sr., died Monday, June 19, 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late James Oliver Spence and Sara Brown Spence. Teze retired from Greenwood Mills where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of many groups including: The Professional Secretaries International- Greenwood Chapter, a Red Hotter, Bunko Group, Lunch Bunch and also the Chicken Foot Group. Teze was a member of Tranquil United Methodist Church where she was in the Brockwell Sunday school Class and also in the Pauline Botts Circle.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Diane Weeks and a brother, James Oliver Spence, Jr.
Surviving are two children, Lisa Dunn (Billy) of Greenwood and Chuck Weeks of Greenville; two grandchildren, Kelsey Dunn and Spence Dunn, both of Greenwood; and her loving dog, JoJo.
Services will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday at Tranquil United Methodist Church with the Rev. Shawn Armstrong and Rev. John Paul Marr officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Brent Rowland, Bayne Rowland, Barry Mayfield, Mike Weeks, Bryan Weeks and Trevor Binns.
Honorary escort will be the members of the Brockwell Sunday school class and also the Red Hotters.
The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Tuesday, 5 to 7 pm.
Memorials may be sent to a charity of one's choice.
