Myra Edwards Williamson, 76, of Greenwood, beloved wife of Wilbur "Willie" Williamson, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of the late George Jack Edwards, Sr. and Essie Minor Edwards. Myra was a loving compassionate mother and was a woman of many talents. She had a God-given gift for caring for the elderly. Her work as an activity director at The Methodist Home was a testament to her passion for helping others. She was known for her artistic and creative nature. Myra had a green thumb and spent many joyful hours working with her flowers. Living on Lake Greenwood and spending time with her family there brought her much happiness and tranquility.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty Edwards Ashley and G. Jack Edwards, Jr.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 49 years of the home are her children, Shonna Williamson Lee (Toby Jr.), Brody "Bo" Williamson, Aubrey Shane Ashley and Angela Carlette Abbott; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; as well as her beloved dog, Gracie.

Memorial services will be held at 3:30pm on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Craig Vondergeest officiating. The family will speak with visitors briefly following the service.
