Myrtle Rae Harvey Boyd, 89, of Ninety Six, wife of Winford Eugene Boyd, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at her home.

Born in Barnwell, SC she was a daughter of the late William "Willie" and Mamie Harvey. She worked for Monsanto and attended Bible Way Fellowship Church. Myrtle enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to preaching on the radio, and writing in letters to the editor at the Index Journal.

In addition to her husband Eugene of the home she is survived by her children, Larry Boyd (Doris), Charlene Harmon (John), and Amanda Wells (Billy), all of Ninety Six; sister, Verna Mae Price of Greenwood; grandchildren, Michael Wells, Ray Boyd, Heather Bowie, Jason Cockrell, Adrian Cockrell, Tammy Dowdy, and Christopher Peters; and four great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Earl Carroll, Christopher Peters, Michael Wells, Jason Cockrell, Adrian Cockrell, and Billy Wells.

The family will receive friends before the service from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
