Myrtle Sue Cogburn Mayson, 98, of 115 Brookwood Lane, widow of J. H. Mayson, died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at her home. Born in Edgefield, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Maude Cogburn. Myrtle retired from Cambridge Pharmacy and was a member of Lupo Memorial United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Beth Hyman of the home; three sisters, Lou Dukes, Velma Robertson, both of Greenwood and Ann Grishaw of Daytona Beach, FL; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and twelve great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Holley Mayson; two sisters, Margaret Bryan and Mary Waites; and a brother, Bill Cogburn.
