Mrs. Sarah Myrtle Parkman Ouzts, 91, widow of Howard Hampton Ouzts, of 3609 Highway 25 South, laid down the cares of this world to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Born in Greenwood, SC, she was an employee of Greenwood Mills for 48 years. She was a daughter of the late Fannie Elizabeth Dorn and William Joe Parkman and was the last survivor of thirteen children. She was a dedicated member of Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church, Saluda, where she was the oldest living member of the church. She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Norma Jean Bowers and her husband, William S. Bowers, and a son, William Adrian Ouzts; five grandchildren, Tony Bowers and his wife, Peggy, Terri Chaney and her husband, Jody, Tyler Bowers and his wife, Lisa, of Greenville, Darren Ouzts and his wife, Lizbeth, and Eric Ouzts and his wife, Paige, of Virginia Beach, VA; ten great grandchildren, Lauren Bowers, Sarah Chaney, Addy Bowers, Anthony Bowers, Zachary Ouzts, Joseph Chaney, Joshua Chaney, Hailey Ouzts, Taylor Ouzts and Madyson Ouzts.
