Nancy Talbert Caro, 74, of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, passed away on November 5, 2025.

Born in Oxon Hill, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Gertrude Lenck Talbert.

She was a graduate of Oxon Hill High School and worked as a secretary for many years.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Edward Francis Caro; sons, Jonathan Burgess, Michael Mabrey, Jr., and James Mabrey (Lorene); stepsons, Chad Caro and Byron Caro; sister, Judy Deskins; grandchildren, Savannah Mabry, Christian Mabrey, Kayla Mabrey, Kalee Burgess and Emily Caro; and two great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, James Deskins and a grandson, Forrest Mabrey.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home before the service from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
